Mifed's next edition will take place by the end of August 2005, in close cooperation with Venice International Film Festival.
Venice Biennale and Mifed have started a cooperation with the aim to develop a common project following the Festival-Market model, already experimented in other events.
The cooperation will be organized as follows: Mifed will open in Milan three days before the opening of Venice Film Festival and this day will also be the last day of the initiative in Milan. Starting from the second day of the Festival, Mifed will continue at Venice Lido with screenings in special rooms built for the occasion in a special area entirely dedicated to the market.
Mifed and Biennale intend to create adequate offers to sell screenings and spaces both in Milan and in Venice, and of course special offers for hospitality, in order to offer accomodation both in Milan and in Venice and transportations from one city to the other.
